Community Engagement and Outreach
Our agency specializes in creating targeted community engagement strategies and executing outreach campaigns to promote inclusivity and connection within the East African community in Toronto. We leverage our expertise to bring together organizations, businesses, and individuals to foster collaboration and support for the community's growth and success.
1. Holistic Community Development
Our four-pillar model—Fair Club, Tutoring Club, Family Educators, and Workforce Pathways—provides an integrated pathway that supports children, youth, and families from early development through recreation, education, leadership, and employment.
2. Job & Career Development
In partnership with CareersNOW!, Food and Beverage Ontario, Meat & Poultry Ontario, and HTA Hospitality Career Pathway, we support job seekers through resume guidance, job placement, and professional networking—helping newcomers and single mothers secure meaningful employment.
3. Community Health & Clinic Services
We provide walk-in and online care via our partner clinic, offer culturally sensitive health navigation, and refer patients to mental health and other health programs.
4. Annual East African Street Festival
SafariniFest is MyInLaw’s and our partner's organization's annual cultural festival celebrating East African heritage through arts, food, music, and community. The festival also supports local economic development by promoting Danforth East African businesses, increasing visitor traffic, creating opportunities for local vendors and artists, and strengthening connections between communities and local businesses.
