Our upcoming job fair is a reflection of this commitment, designed to address the workforce challenges faced by newcomers, single parents, and underrepresented groups. In partnership with New Nakfa, we are doubling down on our efforts to serve these communities, offering a pathway to stable, promising careers within the food and beverage industry.
Why the Food & Beverage Industry?
The food and beverage industry is one of the most vital sectors in Canada, employing thousands and providing a wide array of career opportunities. It’s an industry that continues to grow, driven by the need for food production, processing, and distribution. We specifically chose to focus on this sector because of its accessibility and potential for growth, especially for newcomers and those with minimal prior work experience.
Many positions within the industry offer on-the-job training, making it an ideal starting point for individuals looking to build new careers. Moreover, with an aging workforce and a pressing need for talent, the food and beverage industry presents a wealth of opportunities for job seekers from all backgrounds.
